IPL 2018 : Players to watch out for fantasy sites for RR vs RCB

The 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has reached its final super weekend and the first game this Saturday will be played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royals Challengers (RCB) in Jaipur. It will be a do-or-die game between the two teams as a loss here will be a direct exit for any of the team from the contention of qualifying from the playoffs of IPL 2018 as both the teams are having six wins under their belt after first 13 matches. Both the teams had a similar journey so far as RCB is standing at the fifth position at the table, while RR is at the sixth in the IPL 2018 points table. The last time these two locked horns with each other, RR had defeated RCB comfortably. However, there is no doubt about the fact that both the teams do have proven match-winners in their respective squads who can single-handedly take the game away from any opposition. Let us have a look at the Players to watch out for fantasy sites for RR vs RCB.

1) Jofra Archer

Introduced into the attack as the first change bowler against MI, Jofra Archer perhaps bowled the over which changed the course of Mumbai Indians’ innings. In his second over, he dismissed Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma off consecutive balls. He ended up with bowling figures of 4-0-16-2. He can be very lethal against RCB in Jaipur as in Royal’s home, he has bowled beautifully well in most of the games.

2) Heinrich Klaasen

Heinrich Klaasen made his international debut against India in February this year and was one of the most successful Proteas batsmen in the limited-overs series. Now, this year he has been roped in as a replacement for Steve Smith for Rajasthan. In terms of batting, Heinrich has amassed as many as 1073 runs at an average of more than 35 along with an individual highest score of 77 not out. After having a close look at his credentials, one can easily say that he can be a go-to batsman for the Royals. In IPL 2018, he is yet to make an impact but with the absence of Ben Stokes and Jos Butler he has to play a big role for his team.

3) AB de Villiers

One of the two pillars on which the RCB building standing so far in the IPL is AB De Villiers, the maverick South African batsman has been on and off in this season but has played the major role in the two wins RCB achieved so far. ABD was ruled out owing to viral fever, he missed out in two matches. Even in the last match against DD, he was adjourned as the man of the match for his 72*. Now with the critical stage of the tournament, his presence is a must for RCB against RR. However, in the last match, he gave a testimony to his fans that what are his overall abilities on the cricket field, whether it be the acrobatic catch or smashing sixes of the distance of more than 100m.

4) Virat Kohli

The aura around Virat Kohli is so large that even one or his two of his failures make us feel worried him. This season he has not been in the best forms but still has six thirty-plus scores on his name. Still, he has struggled in the last two matches.

In the match against Mumbai Indians, Virat scored 32 runs but they came off 26 balls. His strike rate was a meager 123. In the game against CSK, he was out bowled to Jadeja for just 8 from 11 balls. Even in the match against DD, he played a match-winning knock of 70 and built a 100+ runs partnership with AB de Villiers. If RCB is to win consistently, Virat has to fire and that’s what he did in the game against KXIP as he played unbeaten innings of 48 and took his team home comfortably with all the wickets intact.

5) Umesh Yadav

In the against KXIP, taking the new ball for his team, Umesh Yadav proved his captain’s decision to persist with him in the powerplay right after he dismissed both the openers in his third over. Punjab never really recovered from the double-blow and kept on further going into the hole. Later on, RCB bundled out Punjab for a meager total of 88.
