IPL 2018 : Players to watch out for fantasy sites for DD vs RCB

On the Saturday of the super weekend of the ongoing 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the second match will be played between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Royals Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Delhi. While DD is out of the contention for qualifying into the IPL 2018 playoffs, RCB needs to win all of their remaining games in order to be in contention for the qualification. However, the chances fo Virat Kohli led side depends on the performance of the other teams who are also eyeing place in the playoffs. There is no doubt about the fact that both the teams do have proven match-winners in their respective squads who can single-handedly take the game away from any opposition. Let us have a look at the Players to watch out for fantasy sites for DD vs RCB.

1) Shreyas Iyer

The most shocking announcement of the IPL so far came from the camp of Delhi Daredevils. It’s loved home boy Gautam Gambhir stepped down from the position of Captain in the aftermath of the consistent poor team performances. DD installed Shreyas Iyer as their new captain and he started excellently with a match-winning innings against KKR. Iyer’s highest score of 93* came in just 40 balls. So far in the season, he has scored 354 runs with an average of 44 and a strike rate of 133. RCB will have to stop this maverick.

2) Rishabh Pant

In the last game against SRH, coming in to bat at No. 4 in the fifth over, Rishabh Pant became the fulcrum of Delhi Daredevils’ innings which otherwise lacked significant innings. The fact that Pant dominated the tournament’s best bowling attack speaks highly about his knock. He ended up scoring 128* (63) with the help of 15 fours and seven sixes.

3) Virat Kohli

The aura around Virat Kohli is so large that even one or his two of his failures make us feel worried him. This season he has not been in the best forms but still has six thirty-plus scores on his name. Still, he has struggled in the last two matches.

In the match against Mumbai Indians, Virat scored 32 runs but they came off 26 balls. His strike rate was a meager 123. On the Bangalore track, surely more is expected of him. In the last match, he was out bowled to Jadeja for just 8 from 11 balls. If RCB is to win consistently, Virat has to fire.

4) Mohammed Siraj

During the game against SRH, Mohammad Siraj was the pick of the bowlers for RCB. Siraj was introduced into the attack for the first time in the last over of the powerplay. Picking up the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan (13), he made an impression in his first over itself. His last over was his most productive one where he dismissed Yusuf Pathan (12) and Wriddhiman Saha (8). He ended up with bowling figures of 4-0-25-3.
